My name is Lorelie Mohr-Rothlisberger and I am a full-time, professional mixed media and assemblage artist. I call home Omaha, Nebraska and share a creative life with my Husband of 20 years. He is my partner in life and also in art!
Since 2008 I have specialized in using antique Frozen Charlotte dolls and doll parts in my jewelry and art. The dolls and parts have been excavated from abandoned doll factory sites in Germany. These sites are being excavated to rebuild and the pieces have been unearthed in that process. I feel these abandoned parts hold so much history and beauty and have made it my mission to give them new life!
In my work I use various techniques such as soldering, collage, assemblage, metalsmithing, torch and kiln enameling and many resin and clay applications. My lines include; Jewelry, Art dolls, Assemblage and Sculpture, Painting, Handbags, Wearable art and Home decor items.
My work has traveled the globe and resides in personal collections in North and South America, as well as many cities in Australia, Europe, Asia and Africa. My line of pin-up girl jewelry was also featured and sold at Betti Page in Las Vegas
